Women's Medieval Linen Wimple Headdress Veil Covering for Re-enactment Historical Costuming

We use 100% linen for this veil in several standard colour options the most popular being white and natural dyed which is slightly beige .
The headpieces made from 3 separate pieces

First part is the head band which is a thin rectangular strip which is wrapped around the top of the forehead then with the ties at the back tight end and tied at the base of the back of the head. I offer it either as just the band or I can sew two small hair combs that grip in to the hair when worn for extra security to stop it from slipping from position when worn.

The 2nd part is a rectangular piece of linen which you pin into position so that that two corners are pined just above the ear on either side of the head then the rest of the rectangle is looped under the chin.

The 3rd part measuring 100 cm by 55cm consists of a large linen rectangle which is pinned to the head band on the top of the head with pins placed either side of the temple.

We provide a set of metal pins help you secure each piece into place

This product is made to order so please give 4-7 days for the item to be made for you.
