White 18th Century Linen Chemise Rococo Shift Dress Historical Undergarments 
 
Serving a protective layer from the skin to the over dresses and corsets worn in the 18th century, the shift dress was and essential part of getting dresses in the 18th century.
 
Made from a medium weighted white linen fabric, with a draw string pull along the neck line to give a little adjustability to the fitting. The sleeves hang around 2/3 of the upper arm with gussets at the under arm like what would have been used historically.
