Colour Linen Side 18th Century Steel Boned Panniers Undergarments and Historic Dress Support Frame

The 18th century brought about a whole new kind of fashion one which was full flamboyant and over the top parades of clothing in the royal courts of the time. And as the dresses became wider at the hips new frames and under skirts were also beginning to make there appearance to keep up with the ladies desire to have the most ridiculous hips.

Ours are made from colour linen available in several different colours, with cotton ties at the waist so it an be fitted and secured with a bow.

All though our panniers aren't the widest that were ever made, they are perfect for wearing under most 18th century dresses or skirts to give the defied 18th century silhouette.

Large (waist 47-56")
